2009 Minister’s Conference

To My Brothers in Christ,

I hope this letter finds you all well and in good spirits.  I just want to take a little of your time to let you know what we will be focusing on this year in our Minister’s Conference.  After attending this year’s National Congress, I was led by the Spirit to examine the foundations of authentic Christianity. In many ways, I see how the church has moved from her foundation – not intentionally, and for no diabolical rationale, but simply because we have concentrated so much on mode, method, and media that we’ve drowned the voice of Spirit and doused the very light and vibrancy that our worship and service should embody! We have grown distracted.   We are so driven by spiritual governments and church polity – that we never really get to do the work of the church – we can’t do the work of the church for church work! 

It is for this cause, that I thought it wise, as the leaders of local fellowships, workers within our district associations and within in our great state, to consider again the doctrinal, moral, and ethical foundations of our faith!   In this week’s conference we will have a lecture series entitled:

As has been our standard in the past, we request that each minister to register for the conference by filling out the accompanying form and submitting the requisite $50 fee.  I remind you that this money is collected simply to offset the expenses of or our guest facilitators and cover the costs of any printed materials that may be needed during the course of our lectures.  If this fee is a burden just do the best you can, but please register anyhow – as we desire your participation in this fellowship above all else! 

My brothers, you are in my thoughts and prayers and I look forward to seeing you this month in our annual session.  I am expecting and exciting and inspiring time as we fellowship together!  May GOD bless and keep you!
